Why you should be on Influenster?

One of my favorite things about college that I knew I was going to miss was all of the free stuff! Free food, free concerts, discounts on local stores. Not to mention all of the discounts from large companies! Like Spotify's student rates and Amazon Prime Student. All of those amazing money savers would soon no longer apply to me. I had to find a way to keep the discounts coming because ya girl loves a good deal.

So I did a lot of research on websites and companies that would hook your girl up with some free stuff. Now, course nothing comes for free, but I was totally willing to write some reviews, watch videos, or try new products in order to save some dollars. Through my research, I realized there are plenty of scams and plenty of sites that just weren't worth the headache.  But then I stumbled across Influenster. From first glance, it almost seemed too good to be true. Influenster sends full sized products inside what they call a Vox Box. Influenster users are expected to complete challenges for points which include reviewing the product and posting about the products on social media.

You make a profile through the Influenster app, and through the app you can connect with other users, follow their pages, comment and like their reviews. You can also write reviews on pretty much any product because anyone can go to Influenster.com to get the tea on products. I don’t mean only makeup and hair products. I've written reviews on cleaning products, drinks, lotions, pretty much anything you can think of. I love that you're able to connect with others on the app. People post pictures of makeup looks or outfits which inspire me to keep up with my social media postings.

I've read reviews from others who have tried Influenster and a lot of the complaints come from not qualifying for Vox Boxes based on age or social media following. Now to be honest, you shouldn't expect to get a Vox Box every week. I have probably had a total of 4 boxes. I'll get an email with a survey which lets me know I'm being considered for a box and then in a few weeks, it arrives at my door. As far as the age comment, I wouldn't be surprised if Influenster markets toward young people with a solid social media presence (which makes this perfect for post-grad survivors!). Most of the products that I have received are makeup and hair related which are a lot of things I see posted about on Instagram. I can't even tell you how many hair videos pop up on my Discover Page which is telling of the marketing towards my age demographic.

I've truly enjoyed my time on Influenster so far! I get so excited when I get chosen for Vox Box and I love getting to try new products and give my honest opinion ( you know I keep it 100). It also pushes me to keep active on social media. I have my moments when I do more scrolling than posting, but with Influenster I have reason to post more often. And even when I'm considering a new product, I have the Influenster community to check out what others have thought when they've used it. You can even ask questions directly to any comment or user.  There is also a Cash Back Program! So you can make money while you shop. If you're looking for a fun and fresh way to not only get new products but to connect to others that are doing the same thing, I highly suggest signing up for Influenster. Below I have a link that you can use to sign up. And once you do, definitely give my page a follow! I'll be sure to follow back!
